A workshop,not a factory.
Kinetic was founded to keep a set of hand skills alive by putting them to work on cars people actually drive.
Since 1998
Fourteen people, one roof, and a rule that nothing leaves until every one of them would put their name on it.
We began restoring bodies for other people's projects. Within a decade clients were asking us to build the whole car, and the restoration bench quietly became a coachbuilding shop.
Panel work, trim, machining and assembly all happen in the same building. Nothing meaningful is subcontracted, which is why the numbers stay small.
